In honor of the rule of law winning this week and Donald Trump finally being held personally accountable for his criminality, we are opening up our Week In Wins piece, which usually just goes to paid subscribers, to our entire Big Picture community.
I'd like to suggest another [possible🤞] win for the President this week: on Friday, while Trump giving his unhinged 'they set me up!!!' speech in front of Trump Tower, our President was busy doing the actual work of governing by announcing a 6-week ceasefire plan for the war in Gaza, which has the backing of Egypt, Qatar, and much of Netanyahu's government along with hundreds of thousands of Israelis, including the families of the hostages, who demonstrated in the streets in support of President Biden and his ceasefire plan.
Joe from Scranton has been a damned fine president - as he continues to demonstrate every day. FOUR MORE YEARS!!

My husband is a registered Independent voter. I asked him his take on “Poll: 49% of Independent voters think Trump should withdraw from the 2024 Election after the recent guilty verdict.” Husband said:
Former Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO) was on 'Real Time With Bill Maher' last night and, I don't know whether it's due to the right wing echo chamber or what, but even sot disant moderate Republicans like him are displaying selective amnesia and continue to push the notion that Former Presidnt Trump is being persecuted by the Left and that J6 was 'no big deal'! HE WAS THERE! He should know better! We must defeat Trump at the polls in November to convince the GOP, the Conservatives, and MAGA that WE DON'T WANT THE ORANGE TURD ANYMORE!!!!!
It was an all-around good week punctuated by the Guilty Verdict heard ‘round the world.
Gleeful, in fact.
Now the world can catch its breath (there is air in the room again) and turn its attention to Things That Matter like, oh, I don’t know, war, famine, and death of the planet?
It’s still hard to believe that the polls are even close to accurate when they indicate that Biden is only a little ahead of Trump. Oh well, we’ll see on Guy Fawkes Day.
If presidential immunity is supported by some as a valid concept, does that mean its proponents support a president today using that power against their projected opponent in November?

“I think he should have withdrawn 8 years ago.”
