On Wednesday, after Dr. Abdul El-Sayed won the hard-fought primary for U.S. Senate by just one point, his opponent, Rep. Haley Stevens, graciously conceded and pledged her support for his campaign in November.
Stevens even posted a picture of them hugging at a Michigan Democrats unity event.
Michigan’s Governor Gretchen Whitmer, who had supported Stevens in the primary, released a video endorsing both El-Sayed for Senate and Jocelyn Benson for Governor of Michigan.
Kamala Harris is in too!
And the Democratic Party’s Senate Majority PAC came out swinging with two new ads, one in support of El-Sayed.
And one hitting Mike Rogers as a proponent of “endless wars.”
Michigan Democrats held a rally on Friday in support of El-Sayed and the entire Democratic ticket, featuring Pete Buttigieg.
That is how you do it!
