The summer of justice and accountability continues! D.A. Fani Willis’ Fulton County, Georgia grand jury indicted Donald Trump and 18 others on 41 felony counts last week in her investigation into Trump’s scheme to overturn the results of Georgia’s 2020 election.
About Trump's declining support, I can say that the guy two houses down has had a Trump flag flying since he moved in several years ago. It's gone now.
Absolutely DELIGHTED about the turn around in Arkansas. It might JUST be possible that schools know more about what it good for for kids than legislators. Quite apart from anything else, they want to brag about where their kids go on to==and much of that is out of state.
I too, am THRILLED that Sarah Huckleberry Clown got slapped upside the noggin'!! Maybe this will wake up the folks of Arkansas, and we can be rid of her, too!
The Fox News😂 crew took great umbrage to Hillary Clinton laughing on the Rachel Maddow program about Trump’s misfortunes. “She shouldn’t have done that!” “It’s disrespectful!” But laughing at “Lock her up!” is perfectly acceptable.🤪
A great on-camera look, as both Rachel and HRC cracked up at the Orange Cancer's latest indictment, even given the seriousness of the subject..."laughter is the best medicine", after all.
The symphony story has me filled with delight, awe, inspiration, and a sense of comraderie. Thank you for bringing my attention to this offering of beauty to the world.
Donnie’s getting a real lesson in how to handle the Find Out stage… and he’s predictably handling it in his usual tactful, low-key manner 🤣 Meanwhile the email lady is spending her time (I imagine) taking long walks and enjoying her grandchildren.
It looks like it, the headline indicated that it was a federal judge that struck down the Georgia law.
Assuming that it was a district court judge, the next step would be the Court of Appeals for whatever circuit Georgia is in. In general, the courts of appeals have no discretion and must hear any appeal that comes before it.
However, if the appellate court decision is appealed further up to the Supreme Court, it has discretion as to whether or not it can hear appeals of any sort.
So the short answer is that it can probably be appealed to the Supreme Court. But who knows whether they would hear It or not.

Overall, it feels as though we are finally making tentative steps toward reason and sanity.
It has been a long time coming.
Hillary Clinton and Fugelsang both hit the nail on the head 👏.

Agreed - we need more beautiful stories to keep us encouraged that live wins.
I want to hear that whole piece of music.
Me too - it was a lovely news story! 🥰
It’s always good to read your “wins”! 💞

Can the Georgia decisions be appealed to the US Supreme Court?

My concern over voter suppression laws being overturned is that they go to the Supreme Court or just be ignored. Is my cynicism showing?
