Question: What is the impact of voting a Blue ballot, across the board? It seems extremely likely, to me viewing from the cheap seats, that Democrats will be successful in our messaging to Vote Them All Out. The R's have proven themselves to be inept and craven opportunists who consistently put themselves (and their dictator leader Trump) above America. We voted party-line Democrat in Michigan for the first time in our lives in 2022 -- it was oddly liberating and satisfying at the same time. Your thoughts?

I'm hearing this more and more. Here where I live, I have some indie friends who voted straight Dem locally for the first time ever. Personally, I think straight Dem voting is important, because it's about values first and foremost, and only the Democratic Party will fight for my values. That's why I became a Democrat. I won't agree with every single Democratic politician on every single issue, but by and large, I'm confident any Dem is better than any Republican, purely from a values standpoint. This is particularly important at the congressional level where each elected member is a vote for the majority. Even if you like your own R House or Senate member, we can't afford to have Republicans in power in either chamber. I would extend that to local legislatures as well. We just can't.
