If those ten seats prove to be the difference between Democrats gaining the House or not, and not the difference between, say, having 260 or 250 seats, then things have already gone horribly wrong. Republicans deserve to lose every district with any degree of "swinginess" in the entire country. They've controlled congress for three years and done NOTHING. NUUUUUUUUUTHING. Hell, "nothing" is almost overstating what they've done, given that they've ceded more power than they've exercised. I would really like it if this country pulled its head out of its ass.
The voting machines were already compromised though! Correct? The reporting and data they’ve brought together points to manipulation of data in specific swing state counties; so targeted it could be missed yet so obvious when looking at the detail it’s clear it was changed on purpose.

And the worst case scenario (for him) would be that Democrats pick up enough seats to remove him from office. So I don’t think impeachment is something he can handle.

I called my Congressman Gabe Evans, Senators Michael Bennet and John Hickenlooper this morning to let them all know that the orange blight is unfit, mentally, physically, emotionally and morally unfit for the Presidency. And I demanded his immediate removal from office. I reminded the aide that answered Evans' phone, that Evans has an Anglo last name but an ethic face. He is betraying his own people!
Bennet and Hickenlooper's phones always go to voicemail!
2. I am staying in closer touch with my city, county and state representatives. I get respect because of my voting record, I vote in all elections. And I attend caucuses!!!
3. I am getting to know the people running for the midterm elections. I am passing information on these candidates to my friends. I am encouraging everyone that I know to VOTE in both primary and the November election this year.
Local elections are extremely important this year! And a large voter turnout will favor Democrates.
One other purpose for amassing all of the personal data for as many people in the U.S. as possible (including not only voting data, but medical data, financial data, etc.), is that it is all being handed over to Thiel to put into his large data computer for analysis. The Cambridge Analytica theft of massive amounts of FB personal data and use of "personality tests" for A/B psychological testing, was a major factor in manipulating the public before his first election. They selected the term deep state, for example, as a non-falsifiable claim that invoked visceral reactions. For his second election, Musk paid a fortune for Twitter and turned it into a massive political propaganda and manipulation machine. Doge trashed the DHS groups fighting foreign influence and disinformation. With AI analyzing massive amounts of data for most of the citizens of the coutry, they can do a lot of damage. At a minimum, they can use micro-targetting of fake ads to push people at the last moment, like X did in 2024, but on a much larger and more targetted scale.
Regarding Mike Johnson attempting to keep Congress out of session -- it was my understanding that he can't, because the Speakership doesn't carry over. That there is no Speaker of the House until the new Congress convenes, and the first thing they have to do is elect the Speaker.

In 2019, the president set the stage for his blundering efforts in 2020 to overturn the election outcome by claiming fraud before votes were even cast. He's doing the same now, but one should expect he won't make the same mistakes twice. The tools are available for him to present evidence of fraud through false testimony of his Gauleiters, seize voting machines to ensure he is the arbiter of fair elections, declare martial law in key cities, and use voter rolls turned in by 8 Red States to his advantage. There is much more he can do that will present challenges far more difficult to debunk than those he used in 2020. And he only has to focus on a handful of states to accomplish his criminal conspiracy.
Assume he succeeds. Come November, he claims that Congressional voting was rigged somehow (governorships too?), and he instructs Mike Johnson to seat only those elected in 2024. Johnson, as usual, bows and curtseys to Trump, and blocks representatives who were not elected two years earlier, but who claim victory this year. Trump instructs Thune to do the same in the Senate. Thune plays Trumps tune. Is there a Rump Parliament? A Congressional Schism where those actually elected this year establish a counter to the body convened by Trump in DC? Republicans in DC, Democrats in Minneapolis? Wherever the Democrats convened, they'd draw ICE like flies on a corpse.
I suppose one answer is to re-run the Jan. 6 tape to learn how to deal with Trump's Faux Congress. A reprise of those crimes even for the right reason is unthinkable. But acquiescing to this larceny is also unthinkable.
