For the sake of world peace, the International Courts must act to arrest and prosecute the people who ordered the bombing of Iran. This goes way beyond our country now. People, children are dying and the world is paying more for energy. Someone must be held accountable, starting with the orange blight and Netanyahu, Hegseth, Rubio and the members of Congress that allowed the bombing to continue.
But I don't see anything in your piece about the financial gains of Trump and his fellow Epstein Class men that were part of all these actions - insider trading of a sort. That's a very important piece of what he is doing and why...
As I look at this overview, I keep thinking that war was the inevitable result. What you describe is a progression of escalating murder.
First, economic and social murder of countless victims, from the actually dead USAID victims to the strangulation of things like scientific research to the social obliteration of pretty much every minority in the telling of American history and the culture wars that obliterate the rights of so many just to exist, and what is a growing crisis of actual hunger and loss of health care amongst so many Americans.
That takes care of the DOGE and tariff approach to death. Then we get ICE; actual murders of American citizens, deaths through lack of heath care of migrants stuck in the camps. Refusing to let a type 1 diabetic have her insulin??? Now we are talking death as a physical thing.
Where else could we go, but joining with death-monger Bibi to actual bombs for no discernable reason, killing school kids and over 1300 others, mainly civilians? How is anyone going to STOP Iran from mining the Strait, even if they do stop lobbing stuff at the Gulf countries? The idea of the military "escorting" tankers seems far off since a mine can blow up a military ship as well as it can a commercial vehicle. From what I can find, mines are really hard to find and clear; some float free so not even IRAN could clear them out in the remote event of an end to this war.
You don't have to approve of Iran's government to realize that this has been a remarkably stupid progression. In each case trump has "bitten off more than he can chew" and what is getting chewed up in the process is America's democracy, its people, its ideals--and the lives of millions to billions, world wide.

It always seemed that he would keep going and going until he reached a wall, but the walls we expected to stop him he just jumped over. That should have shown us who we are, how vulnerable our system is to this conning and gaming, lying and stealing. How vulnerable a good portion of voters have attention deficit disorder and are primarily (STILL) interested primarily in the cost of things- getting and spending- and can be conned over and over again. This Trump knows and his genius is conning, taking advantage, mesmerizing the vulnerable. So many of us are waiting for what will stop him. I was not one to think that Epstein would though it gnaws at him. But this war might. However Trump may yet get himself out of this tangle. The good thing about all of this is that renewable sources of energy will get boost a boost if people are smart. It should.
Iran: even if we win somehow or at least declare victory and stand down, we lose. Short of some massive Marshall Plan thing (which even this probably wouldn't work), the United States will never again be totally safe.

We bombed a school and killed 175 people because of sloppiness, old intel, incompetence, ineptitude and stupidity.
