I also check my voter registration every single week due to them trying to purge the voter roles. I usually vote absentee due to a long-standing disability. I am voting in person this year for sure.
I found Kamala and Tim signs that have rainbows and glitter on them. I think we need to send as many of those as possible to our friends in red states to give all the bigots a massive coronary.
I’m in Atlanta, and wasn’t super thrilled with Kemp as governor, but I deeply admire how principled he’s been in standing up to Trumpers. He and Brad Raffensberger have made it very clear through their actions that, while they may remain Republicans, this anti-democratic nonsense is not what they signed up for. I really appreciate that.

As a former Moderator of a polling place, it was my job to see that everyone followed the rules. We had workers from both parties and tried very hard to protect free and fair elections. It breaks my heart that the garbage mongers are putting the process in question and giving people fear about our system. But I’m confident that the good guys will prevail (generic use obviously).
If NC flips blue, that offsets any mischief in GA, but better to raise monster challenges months before the Nov. elections, rather than play defense the day after. PA in good hands, not much of any MAGA foothold there, and a narrow - even very narrow - win by the Dem ticket should hold up.
Yes, it's very scary but at least everyone is on it! It's clear what's happening and actions to thwart it are being taken at the highest levels. So let's send lots of energy to those doing the work and feel the positive outcome!
The antidote to fear is action. Get involved. There is something for everybody to do. A very good friend of mine said that being afraid is exactly what they want.
I don’t like phone/text banking or knocking on doors, so I’m writing postcards. I’m also a poll worker this year. I’ve never done either one before. It makes me feel better besides writing a check.
It is scary. But we have excellent lawyers who are on top of these shenanigans. Our job is to get out the vote in such big numbers that their nonsense is overwhelmed by the truth of our win. Let the lawyers do their thing and let us do ours.
What sticks out is "Certifying an election is NOT a choice, it's the LAW. A few UNELECTED extremists can't just decide not to count your vote". Maybe a panel of certified voters should make themselves available to watch those extremists as they try to count the votes (and probably have to take off their shoes to do so). Hopefully the DNC lawsuit prevails.

So for an example, there are 10 electors, they wouldn’t be winner take all, but be proportional to the number of votes - so 60% for one party would get 6 electors not all 10.
