Garland and his DOJ should be all in on investigating Republican Congressmen that are compromised and taking direct House voting instructions along with unprofessional Trumpite loonies like Matt Gaetz, MT Greene, Boebert, Ron Johnson, Josh Hawley and Jim Jordan - directly from Putin's agents in our own backyard. Merrick Garland goes up against Democrats who seem to have been corrupted. Yet when it comes to Republicans... Well how about dragging his feet for TWO YEARS. Before being forced to indict Trump and a few other that he later dropped. Bur then was forced to put Jack Smith on the case. Forced. Or Garland would STILL be dragging his feet - while making pretty speeches about no one being above the law. No one except GOP politicians, or billionaires.
Garland has no problem pushing a Trump installed right wing hack to go after President Biden and Hunter Biden. But not a one Republican... if you notice those indictments are either state driven OR Garland made damn sure he dragged his feet long enough so the election would interfere.
Merrick Garland enjoys silence from Democrats. However, Garland is a major problem. And if Mr. Biden was to be thinking ahead - he might think long and hard about replacing him. Garland is doing nothing but harm to the Biden Administration. His obvious weakness is hurting the President.
And other than Garland holding him back and threatening him - none of us see any other reason why Jack Smith has not taken another obvious Trumpite hack, so-called judge Cannon, to the 11th Circuit Court in Florida - to get her thrown off the case before she has completely ruined Jack Smith's work.... if she hasn't already! It looks pretty bleak already, sad to say. With photos of Top Secret Documents strewn all over the floor and piled up without care in a bathroom in Mar O Lago....
An open & shut case if the amateurish Trump hack Cannon had not been involved. Frankly, she should have been recused and disbarred by now.... and probably heading to prison for trial obstruction, unlawful bias against the DOJ prosecutors.... and a host of other legal violations!
The executive branch has substantial powers to protect our national security. I wonder how they might be used to take some of these compromised individuals in hand.

Almost instantly, Heritage went from being one of the most ardent backers of Ukraine to spreading russian disinformation. So much so that several top people at Heritage quit a few weeks later.
Since that time, Heritage and its many associates and linked think tanks have non-stop spread russian disinformation and advocated for abandoning Ukraine, along with Europe.
Most people don't know that Heritage, and everything associated with it, is now a bought and paid for, arm of russian propaganda.
I have been reading many articles that get to the "compromised" topic covered here. Of course Trump is a VERY useful idiot. All they had to do was invite him to Moscow back in the 1980's, puff him up and he was eating out of their hands. The pageant, the money laundering for oligatrchs...er I mean, the investing by rich Russian elites was all part of it. Can you imagine how happy Putin and co were when Donald actually began running for President? Trump was doing it for his own brand and ego, but Putin was probably overjoyed and put plans in motion right away.
Remember that one clip of Trump and Barack Obama in the White House? I've seen panic in people...Donald was scared, and scared badly.
I have also read that the FBI was scared of Trump, but I am not too far in that rabbit hole.
