Happy Birthday. I've been paid since Joyce White Vance interviewed you on Civil Discourse. I keep a quote from that interview in my journal. You expressed so well how so many of us feel at this time in our society: "Anyone who doesn't feel discouraged about the state of our country, I believe, isn't seeing the reality of where we are. In honor of George’s birthday I’d like to pay for a year’s subscription for someone who can’t afford it on their own. Not as a gift for someone I know - for anyone. I can’t afford to be a Founding Member but I can pay for 1 subscription for someone else.
Is there a tab, button or link to do that? I tried using the gift subscription but it requires a recipient email.

I believe you can enter in any amount in the “Founding Member” box including $60. It won’t make you one, but it will credit a free membership. We sometimes get folks on disability or fixed income asking for help, and we will apply it to the next request.
I just tried that and received a message reading “must be greater than $500”. I tried to pay for a gift subscription again and received the same message “please enter a valid email”. Maybe there’s another way? I can always mail a money order but you won’t receive it today, obviously.
As a disabled veteran myself I appreciate that you allow those lacking in funds to receive subscriptions. That’s a nice thing to do.

I want to thank you for giving my wife and I the opportunity to go on a Star Trek Cruise. Back in 2017 you posted on your Facebook page that they were running a two for one special for the 2018 Cruise. My wife is a huge Star Trek fan so I knew I couldn't pass up an opportunity like that. I booked us a basic cabin that we never could have afforded at full price. Being able to see you and all of the other Star Trek celebrities was an amazing experience for both of us. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I will never forget seeing you and Brad on stage as well as the performances by all of the other Star Trek actors.
We’ve already got a dozen new paid supporters. Thank you! Bradder, you’re going to regret betting against our fans!
