Fifteen years ago, June 17, 2008, was a very important date for Bradder and me. On this very special anniversary, I want to thank all of our subscribers for supporting diverse voices, stories and perspectives that rarely appear in mainstream media.
From when I was very young, I’ve heard negatively about same sex relationships. I was in high school during the 60’s, the era of marching for human rights. Gays were with us but couldn’t march for themselves. Teachers didn’t want them in the schools.
I couldn’t understand this, as there were students doing many violent and immoral things. Drugs were everywhere. Yet, students who did nothing to hurt anyone were hated. Hard to understand.
