It would have been nice if all the energy and money devoted to this ridiculous campaign could've been used to produce something constructive, such as food for the hungry, housing or toys for those without. But, that isn't the Republican way. Note that Fox never promoted doing "Christian" charity as a way to fight the war on Christmas. Just rant and rage.

Great point about charity and the lack there of.

That would be the day....

The only war on Christmas I see is when MAGA politicians post the pictures of their gun toting families under the Christmas tree. Taking the wonderful notion of peace on earth and goodwill to all and perverting it to that makes me wish for a special place in hell for these people.

Right? I can't imagine anything more unChristmas.

According to the NRA, Jesus was born to two of their members in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and packs more heat than Rambo, in His efforts to rid the world of Muslims, Latinos, Jews, blacks, gays, feminists, Democrats, and most of all, libtards.

Completely ignoring that Yule celebrations, and Solstice celebrations, decorating trees, and many other "Christmas" traditions were taken from older religions and renamed by the Christians.

Plus between Advent and the Epiphany there are 14-29 (depending on whose stats you use) holy days between many religions around the world. Happy Holidays is appropriate. It doesn't exclude Christianity. It includes everyone else as well.

Good point. The holy-roller bible thumpers only acknowledge those other religions, beliefs, and celebrations when noting its proof of the War on Christmas waged by the heathen left.

I just say "Merry Holidays" and let folks cross their eyes if they feel the need.

The “War on Christmas” is still being fought in Yacolt, WA (population 1,626). The city flashed “Happy Holidays!” on its digital sign & Evangelicals lost their s**t. They bombarded the city with complaints, forcing them to change it to “Merry Christmas.” I dared to suggest that Hanukkah was also quite festive on Nextdoor & responses were what you’d expect.

Hanukkah isn't even that important a holiday in the Jewish tradition. Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur are MUCH more important events.

Yom Kippur requires 24 hours of fasting. I stopped doing it. I was getting splitting headaches.

What's funny is that I recall the era of "put the Christ back in Christmas" and "end the commercialization of Christmas." Back then they wanted the secular creep of Santa Claus and gift catalogs to stop polluting the religious holiday. Then suddenly they were absolutely outraged that the Macy's catalog didn't say "Christmas".

So many wars these days ... on Christmas, on cars, on coal and oil and gas, on family values, on guns, etc. I don't believe there are actually "wars" on any of these. You want to know what war looks like? Visit Ukraine. But if there really were a war on Christmas, it would be obvious which side was winning. Just watch the ads on TV.

What "War on Christmas?" You mean the one fabricated by conservative fear mongerers?

Oh, ok.

Fox and the MAGA crowd should just be done with the War on Christmas; there’s just too many other things for them to whine and lie about. MAGA should just celebrate Festivus, including the practices such as the "airing of grievances", which occurs during the Festivus meal and in which each person tells everyone else all the ways they have disappointed them over the past year. No shortage of whining and blaming with that crowd.

I’ll never berate another’s religion, but if secularism can take that misused tool out of the hands of the hypocrites who use it to justify their corrupt distorted ideology and control of the masses ,then I’m all in for it! Enjoy the season of hope!Merry Christmas to us all ! Even us agnostics still have hope and Christmas is hope!

I guess screaming and yelling about the non-existent war on Christmas just wasn't getting the ratings anymore, so they had to stop and go look for something else to whine about.

It's too bad by the time we win the war there won't be anything left of the world.

When are these real Americans going to attack us in the war? I’ve been sitting next to the Yule log lo these 19 years waiting for them to take everything back and make America great again.

I want my war this year. Maybe that’s why Civil War is trending on the white supremacist social network.

Yeah I have been wondering about this too but it seems they are all cowards probably.

The alleged "War on Christmas" has been ongoing for 100 years. Someone's nose is always going to be bent of out place by something.
