As we say in Scotland. "Don't let the door hit you on the arse!"

We should build the ballroom. BUT, for security reasons, as of today, every public event the President attends must be held on the Whitehouse grounds. That would include golf, and no longer would a president be allowed to mingle with guests at places like Mar A Lago.

Trump doesn't give a flying fuck about anyone...including Republicans. He's like a spoiled child in a toy store throwing a tantrum because he can't have the latest bling. Get this infantile P.O.S. OUT NOW!

When trump is ousted from OUR HOUSE I want him in handcuffs for war crimes. I want him to be made to stand in front of each of his atrocities and watch as they are torn down one by one.

I would gladly support the ballroom if the people claiming that this would have prevented last Saturday's disturbance explain how a private event with 2000+ attendees could have been held in White House facility with a 1000-person capacity.

I'd also like to know how Trump's obvious concern for Presidential security can be reconciled with the fact he spent this weekend golfing at a facility far less secure than the Hilton was.

Someone should just put a graphic of tRump’s arch on a few windows. He will think he built it in 2 weeks.

I had to comment even before I read the article. The caption read: Trump holding photos of the ballroom. Those are not Photographs, those are Artistic Renderings.

Words have meanings. Specific words have specific meanings. Drawings are not photographs.

Hey Bob, thanks for catching that. The photo credit was taken directly from the Getty Images description, so was not our characterization. But I’ve revised it to renderings, because you’re right, they are literally not photos.

I am a photographer. While I am not a pro, I try to make accurate description of what is in my photographs.

Most all my work is landscapes, nature scenes or art studies. I tend to really look at images closely.

Do you wonder why I commented?

To many people would look at the drawing and not read the article, why because a small error like that in this fast paced world would have a person hit 'Close Box' and move on.

I did take the time to read the article several times. It was informative and accurate.

Saturday is a lower than normal volume mail day to I had less pressure to read quickly and move on. I even realized I needed to explain why this was important. Thanks to those that read my comment.

You are correct. You can't take photographs of something that hasn't been built.

Trump lives in our nation's White House rent-free, and thinks it is his in perpetuity. His greed and grandiosity know no bounds, and get worse every day. He wants to possess everything, put his name on everything.

We have to be prepared for the blue wave in November! Start contacting our Democrat and Independent candidates for Congress and demand that once elected they will pass legislation to remove the cap on the number of Representatives in Congress. 435 Members of Congress represents an oligarchy not a democracy! 435 Representatives for 340 MILLION PEOPLE is Taxation Without Representation!!! The 435 member cap was set by an Act in 1929. An Act can be repealed by a majority of votes in the House and Senate. There's nothing the Supreme Court Justices can do about it. Increasing the number of Representatives would make gerrymandering more difficult and dilute the influence of big money on our elections.

Mr. "Let them eat gold" is only able to continue because people are still voting for people who support the behavior. We can only blame the administration so much before it becomes redundant. It is imperative that voters (and non-voters) finally turn the mirror and reflect on how we got here.

For years, folks mocked these people to the point that the meme became the truth and that truth became a plaster- a mask of the irony. Every time Mr. LTEG says something shocking, instead of ignoring it like you would a child seeking attention, it was instead plastered across social media. The joke became a cult. That cult is our reality.

We have to educate people on what is going on rather than continuing to state the obvious. "Well, what are you doing?" I have been teaching and researching better ways to communicate with stubborn people- the very people ignored because they won't (or believed not to) change. The tactic must shift from sensationalism to how we counter, improve, and fix the problem.

I just hope there is enough of us out there that can be heard soon enough. I am scared it might be too late... But we shall see... Historians, social scientists, psychologists, former intel and state dept. employees, anyone with an inkling of knowledge that can provide support and fixing the problems, etc. - our time is now.

Good article, nonetheless.

When Democrats take power and Trump is out of office, laws should be passed to tear down the ballroom, the gigantic arch, and rip his name off of everything.
